Shaktar Donetsk is opened on the date 29th August 2009. The plant is situated in Comsomolt Park of Lenin in the center of the city. It has 50.000 spectators capacity. FC Shakhtar Donetsk club and also in a lot of matches Ukraine National Football Team will host the stadium. Donbass Arena takes part among the 5-star stadiums of UEFA. The first estimated cost of the project is 250 million TL. This cost reached 400 million TL together with the environmental arrangements.
The night lighting of the stadium ensures its diamond-like shining within the city lights.
Metropolitan Municipality Kadir Has Stadium which is the most modern stadium of Turkey realized another first. Kadir Has Stadium had a colorful appearance with the LED lighting system which is applied on the outer front of the stadium.
In addition to an environment in which the colors of the teams could be reflected on the field in the outer front in which 6.000 spot lights are used, also various effects could be exhibited after goals. In the coverage of the works in which the logo of the Metropolitan Municipality is also placed on the main gate with the LED lighting system, total 80 color projectors are put in the glass intervals on the outer front.
Mehmet Özhaseki, who is the Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality who examined the works on site at the final stage, stated that Kadir Has Stadium showed its difference once again and said that “We have the most modern stadium of Turkey in Kayseri. We are always proud with this. This stadium became the gate of not only Kayseri but also Turkey into the international sports arena”.
Mayor Özhaseki stated that while the matches are played, they also perform the environmental arrangements and said that “In addition to this, there was a subject which we emphasized beginning from the project. That was having a colorful appearance by the outer front of the stadium and providing pleasant times for the persons who come for the match. We reached the final stage on this subject as well. The majority of works have been already completed. As it is clearly seen, the outer front of the stadium had a colorful appearance. It will be fully completed until the match with Fenerbahçe and we will realize another first in Turkey”.
